Key Ingredients
LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL
Lavender essential oil is ideal for all skin types and is widely used to calm and sooth dry skin conditions. Lavender oil is a potent restorative agent both mentally and physically. Its properties for the mind include: calming, relaxing and clarifying.
CARDAMOM ESSENTIAL OIL
The use of Cardamom to enhance beauty and wellness dates back to the time of the ancient Egyptians. The pods were chewed to relieve digestive upset while the oil was used extensively in perfumes. For the body, its stimulating nature warms sore muscles and supports circulation. For the mind, Cardamom is said to remove listlessness as its sweet and spicy notes improve mental clarity and uplift one's spirit. Cardamom is also known to warm the heart, with a long history of being used as an aphrodisiac.
ORGANIC SHEA BUTTER
Shea Butter is the natural fat from the fruit of the karate tree in West Africa. Shea is deeply penetrating, melts at body temperature, is a carrier for other botanical ingredients, a superior moisturizer and skin conditioner that helps to shield skin from environmental elements. Shea is also extremely nutrient-rich, containing vitamins E & A, beta-carotene and omega 6 essential fatty acids. Its high EFA content makes Shea ideal for soothing dry, chapped skin. In addition, the naturally occurring cinnamic acid found in Shea Butter offers "sun filtering" properties that may reduce the visible signs of aging.
